Bring A Light, the second album by Chicago based Revolutionary Lion, is a blend of electric blues and soul built on a foundation of American folk music. This collection of songs pays homage to all of these influences without pretending to be any of them. The band is not interested in adhering to a specific musical doctrine. Instead the emphasis is simply strong songwriting. Storytelling. Picture painting. Honesty.
